VOLUNTEERING

To ensure the upmost safety of our students, all volunteers are required to have a clear background check on file to serve in the school or at school-sponsored events, and it must be renewed every two years. Once you complete the online application, your results will be sent to you and the school.

PACE is committed to providing a safe environment for all students and employees. BIB does a nation-wide check for criminal activity and sex offender registry.

Your background check is valid for 2 years.

Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your results from BIB.

No. At this time, all volunteers are required to have the secure check.

Not necessarily. All classroom volunteers are required to sign in at the front desk with a valid ID using our Raptor Sign In System. This runs a sex-offender check immediately on the individual. Only individuals who are cleared through Raptor may volunteer in the classroom or work school-sponsored events. Chaperoning field trips will require a full background check on the BIB website.

BIB will notify you when your expiration date is approaching so you can renew.

PACE Academy administrators, Office Manager, and board chair will have access to the BIB results. Results will not be shared with anyone else.
