Ms. Shelby Lee Hinricksen is one of our special education teachers. She joined the wolfpack from a charter school in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ms. Hinricksen’s love of teaching special education started back in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she began studying to be a teacher in 10th grade. Ms. Shelby continued her educational journey by obtaining a degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education from the University of Nevada, Reno where she accepted her first teaching job at a 2nd year charter school. Ms. Hinricksen has continued her career working at different beginning charter schools. Outside of teaching, Ms. H enjoys spending time with her pets and family, being outside (especially near a body of water), and listening to live music. She spent 14 years of her life playing soccer competitively.
