Maria Dea
Special Education Teacher

Ms. Dea is a special education teacher with the middle school students. She has been in the classroom in all grades K-12. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Western Governors University, and her Master of Education in Advanced Studies from Converse College. The last 9 years she has taught special education and co-taught English 2 at White Knoll High School in Lexington. In her free time, Ms. Dea enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling and visiting family out of town, and local church friends and catching a good seasonal festival or market. When at home, Ms. Dea enjoys cooking, reading, and family. Ms. Dea is excited for all the opportunities PACE Academy is providing for our staff, families and most importantly our students.
